Truth: Christian parents are to nurture their children in the ways of the Lord.
Focus: Conclude that Christian parents are responsible to disciple their children by word and deed.
Emphasis: It is imperative for parents to reach their children with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Golden Text: Deuteronomy 6:6–7 (ESV) ~ And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
