Scripture Reading: Mark 16:1-6

Title: An Empty Tomb, A Living Savior

Devotional:

The women came to the tomb expecting death. They brought spices, not hope. Yet what they found changed everything: “He has risen; He is not here.” The empty tomb is not just proof of resurrection—it is a declaration that Jesus cannot be held by death. Easter is not about tradition, production, or routine. It is about a living Savior who conquered the grave.

Too often, we approach Jesus with limited expectations, forgetting His power. The resurrection reminds us that God still moves stones we believe are impossible to roll away.

Prayer:

Lord, help me live today with resurrection faith. Open my eyes to see Your power at work, even when I expect defeat. Thank You that You are alive. Amen.

Reflection Question:

What expectations do you bring to Jesus—faith-filled or limited?
